Generally, the teeth scaling process can be completed in a single visit. In this visit, the process will take around 1 hour to complete. However, if there is more plaque development then it can take 2 around hours to complete.

Extraction
A tooth extraction is a dental procedure during which your tooth is completely removed from its socket. Sometimes, people refer to this as “pulling" a tooth.

Once the dentist is aware of your oral health condition, the next step would be to perform a diagnosis or a check-up. Through the examination, the dentist will check for any abnormal signs or concerns with your teeth and gums, and signs of oral cancer. The dentist will confirm what they think and begin to offer recommendations as part of a treatment plan. This will also include any cosmetic treatment requests. For example, if you need a filling or a crown for extra protection of damaged teeth, the dentist will make you aware of this and discuss next steps.

X-Ray
Dental x-rays are a type of images of the mouth and teeth. X-rays are an arrangement of electromagnetic radiation, just like evident light. They are of complex energy, though, and can penetrate the body to form an image on film. Dental x-rays benefit diagnoses disease and injury of the teeth and gums.
